The Orchestral Manouvres In the Dark ringtones or as most call it the OMD Polyphonic ringtones are available online.  They can be difficult to find but it is possible.  I spent quite a bit of time looking for them as it seems there are a lot of links that don’t take you to what your looking for.  There is a site that has both the Polyphonic and Realtone version of the song available for download.  You can find them here Ringtones2go

Verizon Wireless Sues Over 700 Mhz Auction Rules

Posted on September 27, 2007

FCC Chairman Kevin Martin is currently working to change the open access rules that were agreed upon for the auction of the 700 MHz spectrum scheduled for next year.  The FCC felt pressure from Google to include open access rules with the auction of the spectrum.  The executives from Verizon met with the FCC on September 17 and discussed their disagreement to include the open access rules in the auction.  Verizon is interested in bidding on the spectrum but obviously want to maintain the integrity of their current business.  AT&T and Frontline have also filed petitions with the FCC but nothing has been reported as to the the contents of those petitions.

Motorola Krazr Accessories For The K1m and K1

Posted on September 26, 2007
Filed Under Motorola Krazr Accessories | Leave a Comment

There are many different types of Motorola Krazr accessoriesavailable if you have this model of mobile phone.  Some of the necessities include a krzr car charger, krzr case, and a krzr Bluetooth headset.  There are currently two different models of the krzr on the market, the k1 and the k1m.  These accessories will work with both models.  There are several different styles of cases to consider when deciding which kind you prefer to use with your phone.

Leather Hard Case

Motorola KRZR Leather Hard Case  The leather hard case is one of my favorite type of cases available for this phone model.  The best thing about it is that it allows full functionality of the phone without ever having to remove the case.  It does an excellent job of protecting your phone from damage and scratches while at the same time it makes it look really sharp.  If you are a business type person and need a case to help your professional image or just want a great case for your phone this one is the option for you.

Metal Case

Motorola KRZR Metal Case  The metal hard case is also an good choice as far as cases go.  It is a little more flashier and stylish than the traditional leather case shown above.  It does however allow for that same functionality of the phone without any excess material hanging off the phone.  This case will most likely appeal to the younger crowd but at the same type will provide excellent protection of your phone.

Rubber Silicone Case

Motorola KRZR Rubber Silicone Case  The rubber silicone case is a somewhat popular case for phones these days.  It is not one of my favorites but it is definitely an alternative to your other options available to you.  This type of case tends to cost a bit less than other cases and the style does appeal to some people.  If you do happen to drop your phone a lot this case will help to absorb the shock upon impact because of the material it is made out of.  If you fit this profile then this is probably the case for you.

Motorola RAZR2 Phone V9m Is Now Available From Verizon

Posted on September 26, 2007
Filed Under Mobile Phones, Verizon Wireless, Motorola | Leave a Comment

The Motorola RAZR2 phone is the highly anticipated follow up to the original Motorola RAZR.  Motorola is hoping the Verizon RAZR2 phone becomes widely popular just like the MOTORAZR was.

The original MOTORAZR sold more than 50 million phone models which is an amazing number considering the variety of phones available in today mobile phone market.

The Motorola RAZR2 phone maintains the slim size the MOTORAZR had but adds some really cool features to the phone.  The most notable when you first look at the RAZR2 is the large 2 inch screen on the front of the phone.  The LCD screen on the outside is QVGA quality and doubles as a touch screen.  The touch screen allows you to control the music you are listening to or the 2 megapixel camera that the phone comes equipped with.  motorola-razr2.jpgWhen the phone is open it maintains that RAZR slim profile while maintaining the large internal LCD screen which is a feature that helped put the original RAZR on the map.  The Verizon RAZR2 Phone has a black casing with a brushed metal around the external lcd screen.  The phone also includes features such as VCAST Music and Video, Bluetooth Stereo Headset, and Verizon Navigator.

We expect to see great things from this phone and who knows it might sell more models that the first RAZR did.  If you want to see it in person I recommend stopping by a Verizon store and taking a look at it.  They usually have all current phone models out and live for testing.  We will provide a full list of Features and Specs for this model in the near future.

SmartPhone Word Game

Posted on September 21, 2007
Filed Under Mobile Phone Games | Leave a Comment

If you have a smartphone and like to play word games then you would probably love to have a smartphone word game on your phone.  While browsing some mobile phone games I came across a cool package of smartphone word games.  This package comes with four different word games.

The website does claim that these four games are some of the most popular word games available.  I will leave that up to you to decide if you agree.

The first game it comes with is Word Jumble.  This is a game where you have to guess a word that is seven letters long.  It has several levels for you to go through and can be a very fun game.  The second game is Hungman which is a variation of hangman.  It follows the same rules as the original game where you have to figure out the word and with to many wrong guesses of letters will cause your guy to be hung.  The third game is Hunt-a-word.  This is just like a crossword puzzle where you have to find given words mixed into a block of letters.  These can be very fun and time consuming.  The final and fourth game in this package is Word Whiz which I would say is kind of similar to Scrabble and Boggle.  You try to make as many words as you can by selecting adjacent letters from the game board.  I like both Scrabble and Boggle so I am pretty sure I would like this game.

If you are looking for a sweet smartphone word game this would be the package for you.  It does cost money so you might want to consider that.  Right now you can buy it for $7.46 which is not bad for four games.  You might be able to find some free word games though but I will leave that up to you.

Filed Under Sponsored | Leave a Comment

Everyone wants to save money when they are buying presents for the upcoming holiday season.  I know I will be shopping for electronics for my dad, video games for my brothers, and clothes for my sisters for Christmas.  Everyone will need a costume for Halloween and I can’t forget about the stuff we will need for turkey dinner on Thanksgiving.   CouponChief has tons of coupons available that will help save you money throughout your holiday shopping, whether its for Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas.  There are a couple stores that I felt offered great coupon deals for items I know are on my list of things my family wants.   I was hoping for a  Palm Treo for Christmas, I think I will mention the palmOne coupons at CouponChief to my family.  Old Navy is another store that had some great coupons for items I will be buying for my family for Christmas with Old Navy coupons.

Verizon Maxx Phone From Motorola - Maxx Ve

Posted on September 20, 2007
Filed Under Mobile Phones, Verizon Wireless, Motorola | Leave a Comment

The Verizon Maxx Phone from Motorola is an off shoot of the RAZR.  It is the phone that Motorola made to bridge the gap between the original RAZR and the RAZR2. It has features from the original RAZR as well as new features that the MOTORRAZR2 will have.  The Verizon Maxx phone features a 2 megapixel camera which is a nice upgrade from the 1.3 megapixel camera the original MOTORAZR had.  The feature that stands out most when you first look at the phone is the new external touch screen.  It looks really sharp on the MAXX phone and this is the same technology the RAZR2 will have.  With the touch screen you will be able to have easy to controlling your music.  This phone also comes equipped with the nice stereo Bluetooth technology.  The internal LCD screen verizon-maxx-ve.jpgis a whopping 2.2 inches which is a great size, if allows are a large viewing area while using the phone.

While we don’t expect this phone to become as popular as its predecessor it is a great choice for someone that wants a sharp looking phone with some good functionality features.  If this type of phone is what you are looking for then it will be a great fit for you.  We plan to provide a full list of features and specs in the coming weeks.
