3G Phones are the Next Evolutionary Step in Mobile Video Technology

3G cell or mobile phones are mobile telephony devices that operate on the 3G network. 3G phones can make use of this technology to allow users to do everything from making video calls to sending and download music on their phones as well as stream movie and YouTube videos. 3G phones are way better than standard GSM phones because they can do a lot more however because of this they have a higher learning curve. 3G phones are the most advanced and awesome mobile phones to date.

3G Mobile Phones

Modern 3G phones are like small computers and are very different from mobile phones just a few years ago. 3G Mobile lets you check out detailed local maps and also exactly find the nearest coffee shop, post office, gas station, or anything you are looking for. One of the functions in GPS that is built in, supports a Web-based application for locating handsets used by employees out in the field helps management to easily find the location of their field employees in real-time, by using the application’s sophisticated map display. International roaming using GSM and 3G mobile phones are widely used internationally. In Japan, a new generation of mobiles came out with 3,5G and 3,9G and is widely available all over Japan with great results

3G Mobile Video

Video on demand, try doing that over the EDGE network, or even the EVDO network. 3G Phones do not only make voice calls but allow you to make video calls, access the web and even watch TV while being mobile. They store video streams as the much used MPEG-4 format. They also open up the possibility of almost instantly uploading video for broadcasting over video websites or to share your pictures to your favorite social networking site. Some 3G phones have the ability to make calls at the same time they are showing a live video stream of the person you are chatting with so that you see as well as hear them. There are a few downsides, when using the phone with a high bandwidth signal it really helps to make the video super clear on a small screen, but unfortunately more data means more to process which taxes the phone’s smaller CPU and uses up the battery life. Also other issue is when using mobile broadband on the phone, the experience is sometimes affected by coverage issues. Unless the signal is very good, streaming video quality is still limited; however at the right location with a good clear signal, an excellent VGA picture with a great sound-track can be viewed. To use mobile video your 3G phone needs a video calling enabled function and not all currently available models are equipped with 3G Video function. When you receive a call on your 3G handset all calls will be displayed on your mobile screen as either a voice or video. When you receive a call for 3G Video, your handset will inform you that the incoming call is also a video call and will allow you to choose how to take the call.

3G phones are now becoming widely available and affordable and soon we will be able to use them as our personal, entertainment and portable communication centers. At this time 3G phones are currently available for purchase only in cities and countries with 3G coverage. Before taking the plunge and making your final decision on a handset compare the features and functions of various mobile phones and determine what is important to you and what you really need. Unique selling points of a 3G phone include: Streaming video from the likes of YouTube and other on-demand similar app that can receive video calls in real time so you can hear and see who you are speaking with. Browse the internet at speeds to stream live mobile videos or T.V. and most importantly how to they work as a regular phone for talking on. 3G Cell phones are bringing much more in the way of entertainment, such as games, music, better Internet surfing and much more.

The walkie talkie headset can be extremely necessary when work in an environment that is really loud.  The reason a walkie talkie headset can be essential is because it can be really hard to hear and communicate when in this type of environment.  There are some really nice headsets out on the market that have been built just for this purpose.  One of them is the Motorola Titan Series headset.  This headset has extreme noise canceling capabilities.

A walkie talkie headset can really set the tone for a work area.  If safety and communication are a critical component of your job then you really need to get one of these headsets.  Motorola is probably the number one manufacturer of walkie talkie headsets today and there is a reason for that.  The products they make such as the titan series headsets are really good at what they do.  Can you imagine working at an airport where there is extremely high amounts of noise with planes coming and going.  If you need the ability to communicate to do your job effectively you really don’t have much choice other than to get a walkie talkie headset.

If you think about it a walkie talkie headset could really save your life.  Communication is really important in the work place, without it you may not be able to do your job effectively.  A walkie talkie headset is just what you need.

Motorola U9 Phone

The Motorola U9 phone has been announced.  This little phone reminds me a lot of the pebble.  It is a mobile phone focused on music as it sports and touch sensitive screen on the front side of the phone that allows for full control of music.  If you look at the front side of the phone you will notice that is doesn’t have and identifiable outline of a screen.  The touch screen is built into the Motorola U9 phone and it appears transparent.  The cell phone opens up to reveal a decent size interior screen and a clean and simply keypad with controls.  The phone has a standard 2 megapixel camera and comes ready and compatible with Windows Media Player 11.  It has the option to put a microSD card in it which can hold up to a 4 GB card.  This is excellent news for the Motorola U9 phone as it will help the phone to sale based on the music player aspects.  The mobile phone also comes standard with stereo Bluetooth capabilities allowing you to connect that Bluetooth headset you have.  This phone is set to release overseas in the Asian markets, Europe, and Latin America in the fourth quarter of this year.  It will be interesting to see what kind of user experience it provides once it is available for sale.

The Tmobile RAZR2 phone was announced today.  The Tmobile RAZR2 phone will sport the beautiful looking touch screen on the outside display.  It also comes stocked with much needed storage space with 2 GB.  It is very similar to the other versions of the RAZR2 phone like the Verizon RAZR2 phone.  It comes with stereo Bluetooth and operates on Motorola’s Linux-Java operating system.  It comes loaded with a 2 megapixel camera which seems to be very standard these days on new phone releases.  It will operate on the GSM/EDGE quad-band network.

This is big phone for Tmobile to add to their lineup.  It should have a draw to it just like the original RAZR did when it was released.  This mobile phone looks to stand out from the crowd and is sure to turn heads.  You will be able to get for around $250 if you sign up for a 2 year contract.  Is this cell phone all its cracked up to be?  Only time will tell us.

The Sony Ericsson K850i Cyber Shot Phone has been announced by Sony.  The best thing about this phone is the cyber shot camera it sports.  The 5 megapixel camera adds a lot of value to this sleek looking phone.  The Sony Ericsson K850i camera phone features a Xenon flash and auto focus.  This mobile phone features a large LCD screen and a very different looking keypad featuring small buttons.  The cell phone comes in two different color schemes, the first being a blue color as pictures and the second being a green color.

Sony has had a fair amount of success with their Cyber Shot mobile phones and the Sony Ericsson K850i is expected to continue that trend.  The phone is expected to hit stores in October of 2007 in certain markets.  If you are one of those that are lucky enough to be in one of those areas you will have an awesome choice for your next cyber shot mobile phone purchase.

Motorola Krazr

Posted on October 12, 2007
Filed Under Mobile Phones, Motorola | Leave a Comment

The Motorola Krazr is reality the Motorola KRZR.  There are many people that spell just like it sounds and type in Motorola Krazr and sometimes Motorola Krazor when searching for things about their phone on the Internet.  The Motorola Krazr is a sweet phone that was a shoot off of the very popular RAZR.  The mobile phone has a longer skinner profile and is very small when held in your hand.

You can currently purchase this cell phone at all three of the major service providers in the United States.  This includes Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and AT&T.  The popularity of this phone is growing but might be overshadowed by Motorola’s new phone line up coming out now.  I do recommend the Motorola Krazr for those that are interested.
