The Motorola RAZR 2 Luxury Edition comes packed with a full html browser and a 2 megapixel camera.  The camera also has an 8x digital zoom and video capture device.  Let’s not forget about the 2 GB of storage that comes standard on this cell phone that will hold up to 1,000 songs.  If you choose to buy a Motorola RAZR 2 Luxury Edition you will also get some nice added bonuses.  These include a black slate Motorola H680 headset that has accents made of 18K gold.  It also includes a leather case that has been patented. 

If you purchase this phone you get the complete package.  The mobile phone is expected to be released sometime in the fourth quarter of 2007.  It is not yet clear what the price for this package will be but we should find out soon enough.

 You can currently purchase this cell phone at all three of the major service providers in the United States.  This includes Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and AT&T.  The popularity of this phone is growing but might be overshadowed by Motorola’s new phone line up coming out now.  I do recommend the Motorola Krazr for those that are interested.

• The first step is to type #073887* on your phones keypad.  If it doesn’t work the first time try typing it in faster.
• You will then see a screen that says Enter Security Code.  Here you will type in 000000 and then press the right soft key.
• Next you will want to find the TEST MODE option and press select.
• You will want to enable this by pressing down and then again press the select key
• If the phone goes back to the main programming screen then you did everything correctly to this point and turned on the TEST MODE.
• You will now press the hang up button until you get back to the main phone screen.
• Now press the clear button and then the left soft key.  If this does not work the first type you will want to type it quicker.  Do this will activate the test mode.
• At this point press the right soft key 3 times.  You should see a screen that states ServOpt: NoChg and AudioOpt: Auto.
• You will want to scroll down on the screen until you see HDR Pref: Auto — >HDR Pref: Auto.
• Now press the right soft key until the screen says CDMA –>HDR Pref: cdma.
• Push the left soft key one time.  Doing so should cause the RAZR phone screen to flash white and then freeze.
• At this point your phone is resetting itself and can take up to ten minutes to finish the process.
• When the phone finishes this process press the clear button and then the left soft key.  This will deactivate the test mode that you have had your phone in.
• You will not want to take your phone out of test mode.  To do so you will type #073887* again. 
• Enter security code 000000 and scroll up until you find the TEST MODE and press the select button.
• Highlight disabled and then press the right soft key and then your phone should be at the programming main menu.
• This means that your phone is now taken out of test mode and you just need to press the hang-up button until you get back to your cell phones main screen. 

Now your phone is functioning in standard CDMA mode and will not switch back and forth between 1x and EVDO mode.  This will help to reduce your phones drain on the battery and will give you more control over how much mobile phone juice you use.   This is how to extend Motorola RAZR battery life.  

When choosing a Motorola KRAZR battery replacement you will have a few different options to pick from.  The first decision you will need to make is whether you will want to get a Motorola brand battery or if you will want to get a generic battery.  The Motorola brand will be better for your phone and might even function better but it will cost you the most money.  If you go for a generic battery you will get a much better deal price wise but you will most likely sacrifice your battery life in the long run.

The Motorola RAZR2 phone maintains the slim size the MOTORAZR had but adds some really cool features to the phone.  The most notable when you first look at the RAZR2 is the large 2 inch screen on the front of the phone.  The LCD screen on the outside is QVGA quality and doubles as a touch screen.  The touch screen allows you to control the music you are listening to or the 2 megapixel camera that the phone comes equipped with.  When the phone is open it maintains that RAZR slim profile while maintaining the large internal LCD screen which is a feature that helped put the original RAZR on the map.  The Verizon RAZR2 Phone has a black casing with a brushed metal around the external lcd screen.  The phone also includes features such as VCAST Music and Video, Bluetooth Stereo Headset, and Verizon Navigator. 

We expect to see great things from this phone and who knows it might sell more models that the first RAZR did.  If you want to see it in person I recommend stopping by a Verizon store and taking a look at it.  They usually have all current phone models out and live for testing.  We will provide a full list of Features and Specs for this model in the near future.
