If your currently in the market for a new Smartphone and are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Apple iPhone, there are definatley some alternatives to consider. Other manufacturer’s have been busy coming up with there own new Smartphones. The video included above offers a review of the new Nokia N95 and the new BlackBerry Curve 8300 from RIM. The Nokia N95 is by far the best camera phone currently on the market. It boasts a 5.0 megapixel camera, 802.11g WiFi, integrated GPS, 2.6 inch QVGA screen, 150 MB of internal memory, and lots more. It does have a $749(US) price tag and is only available through service providers AT&T and TMobile in the United States. That price suddenly makes the iPhones price seem a lot cheaper. The BlackBerry Curve 8300 is the latest model to come out on the market from RIM. It is an upgraded version of the BlackBerry Pearl. This SmartPhone does have a full QWERTY keypad unlike the Pearl. It also has a 2.0 megapixel camera, media support, Bluetooth capabilities, microSD expansion slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Curve has a retail price of $449(US) and is only available from AT&T Wireless. Although you can currently get the Curve for $199(US), after rebates, if you sign up for a 2 year contract.
